“There’s a moon out tonight…” Yeah, you remember that song. And although it means romance for couples, it’s a little different story for our finned friends. Full moon time here on the First Coast, and those fish are NOT fans of the big night light in the sky. But there’s definitely some fish to be caught! People are hitting it big “fishing the ditch” – bull reds and flounder continue to be good, and the mangrove snapper are showing up everywhere now (and they’re pretty big, too!). And if that wasn’t great enough, the bait is outstanding!
This episode was filled with great tips on where to catch ’em…and how. Enjoy!
