I had a great couple from Minnestota on board today. Just catching fish was on the agenda today, and a lot of fish for the freezer wasn't a big issue so I had an idea to go in search of the all elusive, and according to NOAA, the nearly extinct red snapper. We must have found the last 40+ of them because we caught over 40 red snapper, with at least 30 of them being over the 20" prior requirement. We had a 12lb"er and several 8-10lb fish. It was an absolute crazy red snapper bite. Gregg caught 2 nice gags with one being 18lbs. We also had about 30 black sea bass that we actually caught by accident between red snapper. The ocean was like a lake so it was just really enjoyable. What a hard working crew! Thanks guys!
