OS 1109: Dealing With It

There’s no doubt that the Coronavirus, and the fallout from it, is at the top of everyone’s minds.  The guys were no different, so it naturally dominated the conversation, and when it didn’t, it still affected things.

It’s not all gloom and doom, though – thanks to the amazing weather, the fishing is downright amazing.  Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk had an amazing week here, and Jeff had a great time in the Keys earlier this week.  You can check out all of their stories this episode.

It’s also the start of turkey season in Georgia, so there was a lot of turkey talk, too.

Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week from Captain Kirk: Pogies were sighted yesterday. Pack your cast nets!

Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week from Captain Kevin: I bottom fished this week and the current was very strong. Most anglers just immediately go to more weight on the lead. Sometimes the best thing to do is go to a little lighter tackle. That way it’s easier for you to feel the bottom!

Here’s your Kirbyco Builders Inc. cooking tip of the week: PLEASE support your local restaurants like Angie’s Subs! Tune in for an update on both restaurants…Jeff just spoke with them last night. Here’s the link to order directly from Angies:
